BATTAGRAM/SHANGLA: Three persons were killed and two injured in road accidents in Battagram and Shangla districts on Friday.

According to police, a car was on its way from Thakot to Jambera in Allai tehsil of Battagram when the driver lost control over the steering.

As a result, the car skidded off the road and fell into a ravine in Kandar Gattmor area, killing two men and injuring another.

The victims included driver Saeed Iqbal and Hameed, while the injured was identified as Bakht Zeb. He was shifted to the district headquarters hospital, Battagram.

Locals rushed to the scene soon after the incident and shifted the dead and the injured to hospital.

Meanwhile, a car fell into a gorge in Shahtoot area of Bisham, Shangla, killing a man and injuring another.

Police said the locals brought two injured men to the tehsil headquarters hospital, Bisham, where one of them, Mohammad Hayat, succumbed to injuries.
