KARACHI: Spelt symposium on 19th

KARACHI, Jan 11: The Society of Pakistan English Language Teachers will hold a symposium on Jan 19 at the Aga Khan University, Institute for Educational Development, says a press release.

The symposium, whose inaugural session will begin at 9am, will comprise four concurrent sessions on primary English curriculum, teaching practices, assessment practices and teachers’ training.

The press release adds that Spelt would like to invite about 40 participants from among all the key stakeholders in the context of primary-level teaching of English. These participants would include nominated people from the federal and provincial bureaus of curriculum, federal and provincial textbook boards, public and private sector colleges and universities, teacher training institutes and organizations, public and private sector schools (Spelt institutional members only) and some experts in the field of primary education.
