Tajik envoy visits RCCI

Tajik Ambassador Sherali Jenonov, MNA Sheikh Rashid Shafiq, RCCI President Malik Shahid Saleem and other businessmen cut a cake on the Quaid-e-Azam Day.

Tajik Ambassador Sherali Jononov visited the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) on Quaid-i-Azam Day for an event hosted by RCCI President Malik Shahid Saleem and attended by MNA Sheikh Rashid Shafique as well as private sector leaders.

Speaking at the event, Mr Shafiq said people today need to revisit Mohammad Ali Jinnah’s teachings and that they would have profound importance in the further development of Pakistan towards success and prosperity. He drew attention to Jinnah’s motto of Faith, Unity and Discipline.

Ambassador Jononov said he was honoured to attend the event and underlined the importance of Jinnah’s teachings, particularly for the youth. He also discussed trade and cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan, and further expansion of trade and industry in the region.
