Heatwave kills three

NAWABSHAH, June 25: Three people one of them a woman died due to heatstroke on Friday. Maghan Lal, 70, and Haji Qasim, 60, an Indian National, were travelling in 28-down Shalimar Express when they started vomiting due to intense heat and fell unconscious. Both were disembarked form the train at the Nawabshah Railway station and were brought to the People’s Medical College Hospital where doctors pronounced them dead.

A woman, Sona, 60, wife of Abdul Wahab, died of heatstroke in Old Nawabshah.
