SARGODHA, June 24: Satellite Town police on Friday registered a case against the management of a four star hotel for lodging a foreigner without prior permission from the agencies concerned.

It is learnt that a Chinese, Wang Yang, stayed at the hotel about two months ago. The hotel management did not bother to inform the agencies concerned as required under the law.

The hotel management refused to comment when contacted.

KIDNAP: Two students of a private high school were reportedly kidnapped while going to tuition in the New Satellite Town from hostel.

The families of Hasan Salim and his cousin Faizan Talaat said they were kidnapped by Fawad Aslam, Imtiaz Ahmad and Muhammad Umer of Chak 79 NB for ransom.

Satellite Town police have registered a case but failed to recover the kidnapped youth.

KILLED: Naveed of Salmanpura, Bhalwal, was killed and his friend Ashraf injured by an eve teaser and his accomplices on Thursday night while they were sitting on a saw machine near Bhuleh Shah’s shrine.

It is learnt that accused Ashfaq and Nisar used to tease girls while Naveed and Ashraf used to refrain them from this ugly act. The accused with the help of accomplices Allah Ditta and Muhammad Mansha attacked Naveed and Ashraf with spades and killed Naveed on the spot. Ashraf was admitted to hospital in serious condition.
