DERA GHAZI KHAN: Some motorcyclists opened fire on a cement factory’s security van on Friday night, killing two pedestrians and injuring as many employees in Kot Mubarik police precincts.

Some armed men riding motorcycles opened fire on the security van of DGK Cement as a result pedestrians Ayub and Jameel and employees Abdul Aziz and Khalid suffered critical injuries. They were shifted to the DG Khan Medical College where Ayub and Jameel succumbed to their injuries.

District Police Officer Atif Nazir told Dawn that the attack was carried out when the van was carrying cement company’s employees to its factory. Further investigation is under way.
