MBBS craze

Published December 4, 2018

WHENEVER we have pre-medical entry tests, parents are eager to get their wards admitted to a medical college or university.

For this, they even ‘purchase’ marks from the education board or ‘buy’ the whole test or answer keys before the test. This despicable act is common in Thar areas where parents are ready to sell their conscience to get their children a medical college/university seat. This is because of lack of career counselling and awareness about other fields.

The authorities concerned should arrange seminars in Thar to educate our people about other fields.
