LAHORE: The PML-N on Tuesday awarded ticket for PP-168 (Lahore) by-poll to Rana Khalid Mahmood.

PML-N central leader Khwaja Saad Rafique had vacated the seat after he got elected as an MNA after winning NA-125 by-poll. He defeated the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s Humayun Akhtar.

The by-poll in PP-168 will be held on Dec 13.

GOVERNOR: Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda called on Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar at Governor House here on Tuesday.

They discussed construction of new dams and provision of clean water to the masses.

The governor said the backward areas would not be ignored by the PTI government and the people there would be provided with basic amenities.
