KARACHI, June 21: The PCB National Inter-school cricket tournament will be held in various parts of the country from June 27, a spokesman for PCB announced on Tuesday. The event will be played between nine regional school champions.
Schools to feature in the championship include Multan region (Layyah Public School Layyah), Lahore region (Muslim Model High School), Rawalpindi region (Bajwa Public School Rawalpindi), Karachi region (Ebrahim Ali Bhai GBSS Karachi), Peshawar region (Govt High School Nanakpura Peshawar City), Sialkot region (Govt Jamia High School), Faisalabad region (Govt MC High School Tandlianwala), Hyderabad region (Govt Municipal Higher Secondary School, Nawabshah) and Quetta region (Govt High School, Quetta)
Top team from each pool will qualify for the final which will be played at Qadhafi Stadium Lahore on July 18.
All matches will be of 45 overs except the final which will be of two-day duration. Matches will be played on point system and under ICC rules.
