PCC beat DCG

KARACHI, June 21: Noman Alvi and Shahid Latif produced good performances to help Pakistan CC (PCC) inflict a six-wicket defeat on Delhi City Gymkhana (DCG) in the KCCA Centenary Inter-club tournament on Monday.

Slow left-armer Noman grabbed four for 20 as Delhi City Gymkhana were all out for 157 in 40 overs. Shahid then struck eight boundaries in scoring 64 which guided Pakistan CC to victory in the 28th over.

In another match, Hamdam CC scored a five-wicket victory over Bright Gymkhana at the New United Gymkhana ground.

BRIGHT GYMKHANA 123 in 31.4 overs (Fahad Jabbar 22; Sajid Ansari 2-22, Asad Butt 2-29); HAMDAM CC 127-5 in 30.4 overs (Farrukh Rizvi 43, Irfan Ansari 21, Abdul Hafeez 20 not out; Wasim Qureshi 4-35).
