KARACHI, June 21: Four ships carrying chemicals and containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was light where only one ship, Izumo, to unload and load containers was berthed after the departure of four.

The ships, which departed included PONL Mahe, Bunga Kenari, Anarita, and Nur Yanbu, while Hanseduo, Corin Thaikos, Izumo, and Chemstar Brave are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was large where a total tonnage of 71,353 tons comprising 15,941 tons of export cargo, including 3,872 tons of rice and 844 tons of cement and 55,412 tons of import cargo, was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Stolt Ayame, with chemicals, Kota Waruna, Hyundai Future, and YM Star, with containers.
