Six-wicket haul by Wasim

KARACHI, June 20: Medium-pacer Wasim Hanif grabbed six wickets to help Korangi Al-Fateh CC shoot out New Paramount CC for only 35 runs in the KCCA Centenary Inter-club cricket tournament fixture at the Landhi Gymkhana on Sunday. Wasim took six for 15 in 7.3 overs as New Paramount CC’s innings lasted only 14.3 overs.

In reply, Korangi Al-Fateh CC reached their target in nine overs for the loss of four wickets. Munawwar Hussain took three for seven.

Malir Companion CC defeated Hyderi CC by 21 runs in a low scoring match at the Asifabad sports ground while Tapal CC beat Shaheen Gymkhana on a superior run rate at the Student sports ground.
