KARACHI: Half-a-dozen horses are in fray in The Autumn Cup when it takes place in the Gymkhana race meeting at the Karachi Racecourse on Saturday.

The Autumn Cup, a scale order III race to be contested over five furlongs, is the supporting event and fourth in racing order.

This will be followed by the feature event, combined top scale order I and II race, which too has six acceptors including a five-year-old thoroughbred Class Leader.

Two other horses who will make their debut are bracketed in the first race. They include Karachi’s unknown pedigree dark bay mare Paris and Lahore’s unknown pedigree grey mare Boolan Queen.

Saturday’s race card has altogether 33 horses which is a good indicator.

According to schedule, the first race gets into action at 2.30pm.
