KARACHI: Family businesses must acknowledge the importance of technology to drive growth in the future, said Umair Munir and Nauman Lakhani while speaking at the 2nd Family Business Conference — Navigating the Future on Thursday.

The conference hosted by BBCL-BDD — in collaboration with Institute of Business Administration Karachi and KPMG – was aimed to exchange ideas and experiences with family business leaders, board members and executives.

The members were also briefed on the potential opportunities in other sectors.

The panellists, who hailed from technology to education sectors, stressed the need to incorporate technology to grow on a par with global businesses.

Yasir Saeed Kirmani of A.F. Ferguson & Co also presented a Urdu socio-political satire “Iqtedar Manzil” highlighting the menace of corruption in Pakistan.
