7 women police injured

RAWALPINDI, June 19: Seven women police officials including the Station House Officer (SHO) Inspector Hameeda Sardar and their driver were injured in a road accident while going to Chontra on a VVIP security duty, police said on Saturday.

According to doctors at the District Headquarters Hospital Rawalpindi, three of the injured police officials sustained multiple fractures, while the SHO was in critical condition.

The three injured were identified as Hameeda Sardar, Rubina Shaheen and Kishwar Bibi.—Staff Reporter
