HYDERABAD, June 17: Employees of the Hyderabad Development Authority took out a protest procession from the Tilak Incline to the press club here on Thursday against delay in payment of their salaries.

Speaking on the occasion, Sindh National Labour Federation president Rana Mehmood Ali Khan accused officials of the HDA and the CBA union of corruption and held them responsible for destruction of the HDA.

He regretted that families of workers were facing starvation but contractors were receiving their payment regularly.

Union leaders Khamiso Khan Jatoi, Behram Chang and Aijaz Hussain said due to inflation, workers could not make their both ends meet.
