Sindh to host National Games

KARACHI, June 16: Sindh will play host to the 30th National Games at Karachi in July next year. The tentative period of staging the biennial games was finalized at a meeting between representative of Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) and officials of the Sindh Olympic Association (SOA) on Wednesday.

The meeting was attended, among others, by representatives of the SOA and secretaries of different provincial associations.

Khawaja Farooq Saeed, vice-president, POA, had specially come from Lahore to discuss matters pertaining to hosting of the games.

During his stay in the city, he also visited some venues where different disciplines would take place to inspect the facilities.
