ISLAMABAD: As many as six patients tested positive for dengue at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) during the last two weeks.

Media coordinator Pims Dr Waseem Khawaja while talking to Dawn said that most of the cases came from Tarnol.

“People should keep their houses clean and should avoid fresh water from accumulating in the house because dengue mosquito lays eggs in fresh water.

“Moreover, if people have fever and they feel pain in abdomen they should only take paracetamol,” Dr Khawaja suggested.
