Army, Wapda triumph

LAHORE, June 15: Army and Wapda won their respective matches in the All Pakistan Chaudhary Zahoor Elahi floodlit memorial kabbadi tournament at the Atiq Stadium on Tuesday night. Army outclassed Police 61-37 having led 30-20 at the half time. From Army, Tariq Butt, Aslam Noori and Akbar Jat were the main scorers.

In the other match, Wapda trounced Pakistan Air Force 55-36. The winners led the first half 31-15. From Wapda Abbas, Siddique Butt, Altaf and Ashfaq played main role in the win. The final will be held on Thursday.

The winners will get Rs 25,000, the runners-up Rs 15,000 and the third position holders will pocket Rs 10,000.
