HYDERABAD, Jan 10: The University of Sindh is organizing International Chemistry Conference from Feb 4, at the Allama I.I Kazi Campus, Jamshoro.

The conference is being jointly organized by the centre of excellence in analytical chemistry, Dr M.A Kazi Institute of Chemistry, Institute of Biochemistry and Institute of Pharmacy, University of Sindh.

Renowned scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan will be the chief guest and Professor Dr Attaur Rehman, federal minister of science and technology, will be the guest of honour in the inaugural session of the three-day second international chemistry conference.

About 300 scientists from Pakistan and foreign countries, including Iran, Nepal, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh and Cameron will attend the conference and will present their papers in various fields of chemical and pharmaceutical sciences.

MUET RESULTS: The controller of examinations, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro, has announced the results of B.E. first term first year (01-batch), Electrical Engineering, B.E first term second year (2k-batch), Electrical Engineering, and B.E. second term final year (97-batch), Industrial Engineering and Management, (under external examiners system) of the regular examination held in May, June and Oct, 2001, respectively at Jamshoro.

CEREMONY: The registrar, Liaquat Medical University, has notified that the day-one ceremony to welcome the students admitted in first year MBBS, along with their parents, will be held at the campus on Jan 15 at 3:00pm.
