Explosion rocks Quetta

QUETTA, June 14: A powerful explosion rocked Quetta on Tuesday night. No casualty was reported. According to sources, a home-made bomb planted near a school in Jinnah Town went off at around 11.15pm, causing panic among area people. No loss of life or damage to property was reported.

FOUR KILLED: Four people were gunned down in separate incidents in Dhadar and Gandawah areas of Bolan and Jhal Magsi districts on Tuesday.

Sources said unknown people opened indiscriminate fire on Aman Khan and Haji Fateh Mohammad when they were passing through the main bazaar. Both died on the spot.

In the other incident, Hamza Jatoi killed two people who were working in a field in the Gandawah area of Jhal Magsi district, some 350km from here. They were identified as Abdul Rasool and Noor Ahmed. The cause of killing was reported to be tribal enmity. No arrests had been made so far.
