Tribal women

Published October 2, 2018

THERE are reserved seats for women in the National Assembly, Senate and provisional assemblies. But women of tribal areas have no reserved seats in parliament.

According to the Constitution, women should be allocated a precise percentage on the basis of population or general seats. This is a violation of international treaty signed by Pakistan.

Women from tribal areas should be given opportunities in every field so that they can serve their backward areas in a better way.
