NAWABSHAH: Additional district and sessions judge on Saturday issued a show-cause notice to former president and co-chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party, Asif Ali Zardari, for violation of Election Act 2017.

The judge Mohammad Mehboob Awan, who is also returning officer for NA-213, asked Mr Zardari through the notice to show cause within 14 days as to why the receipt of printer and publisher for material printed on his campaign was not submitted along with other details of election expenses, which was a violation of Sections 180(3) and 115(g) of Election Act 2017.
