Appointment in police

Published September 21, 2018

IT is a matter of great concern that 21 candidates who have qualified for the post of assistant sub-inspector in Sindh Police through the Sindh Public Service Commission in May 2018 are still waiting for their appointment letter.

The SPSC has sent the requisite recommendation letters to the Provincial Police Officer Sindh three months ago for necessary action. Since then the recommendation letters have been lying with the Sindh police chief’s office.

The selected candidates –who are anxious to start their careers-- visit the Sindh Central Police Office every now and then but return empty-handed.

This is a request to the Sindh Inspector-General of Police to expedite the matter.
