LAHORE: A young woman was found dead with head injuries in the washroom of her home in Naseerabad area here on Tuesday.

Parents of the woman declared it an accidental death saying she was a patient of cluster headache.

They further claimed that she suffered an attack, fell down on the ground in her washroom and received critical head injury which led to her immediate death.

However, police took the body into custody [owing to suspicion] and sent it to the city morgue for autopsy.

Sharing details, the homicide detective said the woman was a fashion designer by profession and doing job in a textile unit.

He said though her parents’ claim was seconded by other members of the family, further action would be taken on the basis of the postmortem report.
