Govt accommodation

Published September 12, 2018

SERVING and retired employees or their families live in areas like Martin Quarters, Pakistan Quarters, F.C. Area, etc. The government has given its employees flats or houses in these areas.

After retirement, the government gives money or pension to its employees. This money is enough to purchase houses. But some employees are taking undue advantage of this, for a lot of them give these flats or houses on rent or even sell them for high prices.

Owing to these illegal actions, other employees face difficulty in acquiring government residence.

The government should take notice of these illegal activities.
