NOWSHERA:The Nowshera Kalan police station has registered a case on the complaint of a man who alleged that his six-year-old daughter was sexually assaulted by his two relatives, one of whom was a constable in the district police.

Officials said on Thursday that the complainant, Nasrullah, registered an FIR with the Nowshera Kalan police station on Wednesday, alleging that his daughter was molested on the second day of Eidul Azha in KhaushgiPayan area.

He said that they were searching for the alleged molesters themselves and now they had traced them and registered a case against them. He nominated his two relatives Hezran Khan, who was serving in Nowshera police, and Zubair Khan in the case.

When contacted, the police station confirmed that the complaint had been lodged and they were searching for the suspects.

The girl was taken to the DHQ, Nowshera, where a board of senior doctors would investigate the case.
