Harassment at university

NAWABSHAH: A final year student of the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Nawabshah, on Sunday accused the head of her department of harassing her for months.

She told press conference along with her father at the local press club that she kept complaining against the teacher to the vice chancellor but the latter never took action against him.

She claimed that her father also approached the varsity administration but was threatened with dire consequences.

“I have been under immense mental strain for months and cannot bear it anymore,” she said, and urged the media to help her.

Then they say why CJP raids and interfer in departments works. CJP has to interfer when the heads of departments fail to deliver.

There shall be a special department in FIA to secretly investigate in through professional way s to incident of child abuse and sexual harassment. In sorry to day police and other departments not competent enough to pay even a fair attention to these special cases.

There must be a strict legal punishment given to the culprits but unfortunately, such serious cases are taken very lightly. Don't know what for women go to parliament when even they can't raise a voice for the women.

matter needs through transparent, impartial & without prejudiced inquiry in the supervision of an honest police officer of PSP cadre then involvement of reportedly teacher is proved, he may be made an example.

This is so terrible that I am really thinking to stop telling people that I am a retired Professor.How could a teacher do this to a student and then how could a VC ignore her complaints.Both these guys be dismissed.Furthermore, a case may be registered against the both.No body must be allowed to violate the sanctity of educational institutions.
