First Lady visits shelter house, Data Darbar

LAHORE: On her maiden visit to Lahore after her husband Imran Khan took oath as prime minister, the First Lady Bushra Imran on Saturday spent time with orphans at the Darul Shafqat and visited Data Darbar, the shrine of Ali Hajveri.

Accompanied by her friend Farah Khan, Mrs Imran brought food for the children at the shelter house and also had lunch with them.

She patiently heard problems of the children and expressed her affection for them.

She promised better facilities for the children at the orphanage.

Later, she also visited Data Darbar and offered fateha there.

Don't you consider the president as the first citizen of the country in Pakistan.I have seen Pak media reporting the wife of prime Minister as the first lady for last few days.

It was great of the First Lady of Pakistan, Bushra Imran, that she visited Dalrul Shafqat orphanage in Lahore and had lunch there, with children. Pakistan has truly turned a corner!

The First Lady ought to take ownership of a a cause like educating street children, prevention of stunting in children, helping the physically and mentally challenged children, etc, children are the future of a society! She can contribute immensely in this regard!
