What a strange judgement ! Such a simple and most unusual charge in the most unusual circumstances, should not have been given more than 2 days to investigate and find the truth but, the police chief has given 2 months for it.

@M. Saeed Agreed. Justice delayed is justice denied. The accused are facing criminal charges and as such should not be dealt under rules and regulations of departmental enquirer procedure. The official involved should be behind bars and facing criminal charges. Since it has not been, one gets bewildered to see status quo creeping in back into bureaucratic conduct of official business as usual. In the meantime, the affected person must be under a lot of stress, one being humiliated of being raped, going through the rigor of departmental inquiry and facing the brunt of undue pressure because of being exposed to harm’s way as the accused are there to intimidate him. These guys must be made an example through swift justice so that others can take cue that things are changing fast and nobody can take refuge under the ambit of status quo to get away from punishment after committing such criminal act. Let us hope that our people loving CJP take a suo motto notice of the event and take action
