HARIPUR: Four people, including two women, were killed when a vehicle carrying them plunged into a deep ravine in the limits of Saddar police station here on Thursday.

The vehicle (LOG-3442) was carrying a family from Haripur to attend a funeral ceremony of their relative in Bhatt Ghorki village.

When the vehicle reached near the hilly area of Bhatt Ghorki village the driver lost its control and the vehicle fell into a ravine.

As a result, driver Daryaft, a resident of Pharala village, and two women identified as wife of Munawar Din and wife of Rehmat Din of Kangra village died on the spot.

A 10-year-old child Sabeel Ahmad was referred to Ayub Medical Complex, Abbottabad, in critical condition where he also succumbed to his injuries.
