PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has announced that power supply will remain suspended from three to seven hours on Aug 19 (Sunday) due to work on maintenance of transmission lines in Peshawar and other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to a statement, the power supply will remain suspended from 9am to 12 noon in areas, including PAF, CAA, MES-2, Old MES, Jail Express, Mall Road and Sadar Road, while the consumers will suffer from 7am to 12 noon due to power suspension in Regi, Hayatabad 4 and 5, University Campus, Gulabad, Tajabad, Kohati Gate, Qissa Khwani, Kareempura, Chowk Yadgar, Dabgari, Shoba, Kakshal, LRH, MES-1, Deans, Fort Jail, Kacha Ghari, Hayatabad-2, Karkahno, Nishtarabad, Chughalpura, NHA, Hashtnagri and Gul Bahar.

The consumers of Landi Arbab-3 and Sonehri Masjid will face inconvenience from 7am to 1pm.

In Lower Dir, the power supply will remain suspended on August 18 and 19 from 6am to 7:30pm in Akakhel, Timergara, Khall, Tourmang, Odigram, Doshil, Maidan, Lal Qilla, Mayar, Sheikhan, Ghazi Baba, Qazafi and Ghar Shamozai.

In Bajaur, the consumers will face inconvenience from 6am to 8pm on August 18 and 19 in Munda, Katkot, Arang, Khar, Old Express, Khalozai and Shago. The power supply in Daudkhel and Tajazai area will remain suspended on 17th, 20th and 27th of this month from 7am to 12noon.
