SUKKUR: A man hacked his wife and nephew to death in Ghotki on suspicion of an extramarital affairs between them.

According to officials at the A-Section police station, Abdul Jabbar Narejo axed his nephew, Asad Narejo, to death in front of the Ghotki district jail late on Saturday evening. He then returned home in Labour Colony and hacked his wife, Aneela Narejo, wounding her seriously. She was first taken to the Ghotki taluka hospital but referred to the Sukkur Civil Hospital due to her critical condition. She succumbed to her wounds during treatment.

The police said that Jabbar escaped after committing the two murders and an FIR against him was registered on behalf of the state on the complaint of SI Mohammed Iqbal Rajput.
