PESHAWAR: The Regional Board of the National Accountability Bureau, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Friday approved several inquiries into corruption and corrupt practices.

The approval was granted during a meeting chaired by NAB KP director general Farmanullah Khan here.

The meeting was attended by directors, deputy prosecutor general, case officers, and other relevant investigation officers.

According to a NAB statement issued here, the board approved an inquiry against the employees of the communication and works division, Karak, regarding corruption and corrupt practices.

The employees were accused of illegally awarding contract for construction of district headquarters hospital in KDA Karak of 30 Type-III Flats at DHQ Hospital, Karak.

The board also authorised inquiry against FMG Global Limited on the charge of cheating public of millions of rupees on the pretext of investment in motorcycle business.
