Love for army

Published August 10, 2018

LOVING gestures of patriotic people showing their love and affection for Pakistan Army were not only worth watching but must be encouraging for the army personnel on security duty during polls.

They performed their duties to help the Election Commission of Pakistan hold peaceful, fair and transparent elections. People showered rose petals, and presented bouquets and juices to army jawans on duty. The Pakistani people have sent a strong message to everyone, including non-state actors and international establishment, that no matter what we will always stand by our army.

I thank the army for smooth and fair elections.
