ISLAMABAD’s Sector D12 has been developed by a construction company. As per records of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), it is fully developed. However, the substandard quality of construction material and poor supervision by the CDA staff are visible all around, especially on the roads, sewerage and fresh water network.

The CDA supplies water on alternate days for about 45 minutes. The pressure is very low. A team of D12 residents carried out a volunteer survey and found leakages in D12/1, street 75, 106 and junction of street 90 and MR4, D 12/2 street 45, underground junction at the corner of Service Road West and street 64, D12/3, street 4,103, D12/4, street 144, 145, 151, 148A and 149. The CDA staff should carry out immediate repairs.
