KARACHI, June 6: A three-day workshop entitled “Science in Mass Media” will commence at the Karachi University campus from today. The moot is being organized by the Department of Genetics, University of Karachi, in collaboration with the Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Centre (PASTIC).
The Chairman of Pakistan Science Foundation, Dr Farid A. Malik, will be the chief guest while the vice-chancellor of Karachi University, Prof Dr Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui, will preside over the workshop.
The Chairperson of the Department of Genetics, University of Karachi, Prof Farzana N. Naqvi, will present the vote of thanks on the occasion. — APP
