PTM leader Mohsin Dawar, who was contesting as an independent after the movement decided to stay away from electoral politics, has won from NA-48 Tribal Area-IX ( North Waziristan).
According to the photos of Form 47 he uploaded on Twitter, he received 16,496 votes against MMA candidate 15,352.
The current account turnaround, though largely driven by import compression, rising remittances and bilateral debt rollovers, has eased external pressures.
