GWADAR: Balochistan caretaker Chief Minister Allauddin Marri has urged all political parties to strictly follow the code of conduct issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for the coming election.

The caretaker government was under obligation to hold transparent and impartial elections in a peaceful atmosphere, he said after a briefing given by the district administration Gwadar on Wednesday.

District Administration officials told the chief minister that all preparations had been finalised, while contingents of Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps (FC) would be deployed at sensitive polling stations to avert any untoward incident.
