KHAR: Ballot papers for the July 25 general elections have reached Bajaur, sources in the local election commission office said on Thursday.

They told this correspondent that ballot papers for the two National Assembly constituencies of NA-40 and NA- 41 were transported from the regional office the election commission in Peshawar under the supervision of Pakistan Army.

The sources said that ballot papers had been shifted to the district by a special team, including senior officials of the Election Commission of Pakistan and officers of Pakistan Army.

They said the ballot papers had been kept in a secure place and would likely be handed over the district returning officer. They said that DRO would later hand over the ballots to returning officers of both the National Assembly constituencies.
