GILGIT, June 2: The Northern Areas Police won the Peace Polo tournament on Thursday beating Northern Areas Public Works Department 19-9 in an hour-long match played at the Aga Khan Shahi Polo ground Gilgit. The tournament was part of the peace initiatives of the local administration that drove thousands of spectators from Chilas, Astore, Hunza, Nagar and Skardu as well as foreign tourists to watch the most thrilling freestyle polo tournament in the city.
