MANSEHRA: A man drowned and his wife and three children suffered critical injuries when their car fell into the Kunhar River in Bangian area of Kaghan valley here on Friday.

The accident occurred when Mohammad Dildar failed to control the car while negotiating a sharp turn.

The car bound to Balakot from Jurad skidded off the road and fell into the river.

All the people riding the car except Mohammad Dildar fell out of the car before it went under water.

The local residents shifted Mohammad Dildar’s wife and three children Mahnoor, 12, Abdul Hadi, 6, and Amanullah, 10, to a nearby hospital.

The doctors however referred them to the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital due to critical condition.

The divers later began search for family head Mohammad Dildar but failed by evening.

The local police registered an FIR and began investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
