KARACHI: BSc results announced

KARACHI, May 30: The examination department, University of Karachi announced on Monday the results of BSc (Pass) part-II/ both parts annual exams 2004. Fatima Ishaq d/o Syed Ishtiaq Hussain of DHA Degree College for Women secured the first position. Maryam Attique Butt d/o Mohammad Attique Butt of PAF Degree College Faisal got second position, while Nayab Latif d/o Abdul Latif of St Joseph’s Govt. College for Women and Sana Musharraf d/o Sayyed Musharraf Varis of DHA Degree College for Women secured third position, jointly.

A total of 4,291 candidates were registered for the exams out of them 4,052 appeared.

BDS results: The examination department also announced the results of first professional BDS annual exams-2005.

Fatima Jinnah Dental College secured the top three positions. Faiza Malik d/o Mohammad Arif secured the first position. Mona Shahzad d/o Masroorul Haq Shahzad stood second, while both Aliya Majid Hasan d/o Majid Hasan and Sanober Naz Mohammad d/o Mohammad Akhter secured the third position. shuttle service: The University of Karachi announced on Monday the schedule for its city shuttle service effective from June 1 to July 11 to facilitate the varsity students, employees and others.

According to KU notification, a shuttle would leave for the university at 7:45am from Korangi No 5 via Malir City, Jinnah Square, Natha Khan, Labour Camp, Nipa Chowrangi to the campus.

At 8am from Saddar via Gurumandir, Jail Road, Hasan Square, Nipa Chowrangi to the campus.

At 8am from Bismillah Hotel via Golimar, Liaquatabad Dakkhana Chowrangi, Hasan Square, Nipa Chowrangi to the campus.

At 8am from Orangi Town No 1 via Banaras Chowk, Abdullah College, Board Office, Hyderi, Sakhi Hasan, Water Pump, Dental College, Fazal Mill, Nipa Chowrangi to the campus.

At 8am from New Karachi via 2-Minute Chowrangi, Nagan Chowrangi, Sohrab Goth, Nipa Chowrangi to the KU.

The notification said that the shuttle service would start from the Maskan Gate at 8:15am and 8:45am, while this facility would be available from the Silver Jubilee Gate at 8:30am, 8:45am, 9am, 9:15am, 9:30am, 9:45am and 10am.—PPI
