KARACHI: District Malir Whites outplayed Malir Colours 11-4 to advance into the final of the Olympian Mansoor Ahmed Inter-district five-a-side hockey league as the event resumed after a break at the KHA Sports Complex on Thursday.

Malir Whites, who topped pool C, enjoyed complete edge over district-mate rivals to become first team to enter the final.

Bilal slammed three goals and was followed by Asif, Naveed, Sameer and Anees who scored a brace apiece.

Zeeshan (2), Wahid and Israr one each, reduced the deficit for the losers.

Malir Whites meets the wnner of second semi-final to be played bwteeen East Colours and Korangi Colours in the title clash on Satu­rday.
