PML leads in NA by-election

QUETTA, May 28: Sardar Fateh Mohammad Hasni of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) was leading with a majority of over 5,500 votes in the by-election on National Assembly’s seat NA-271 Kharan-cum-Panjgur. According to unofficial results available till late night, Sardar Hasni had secured 21283 votes while his closest rival Mir Abdul Khaliq Baloch of the National Party had bagged 15,244 votes. Results from 20 polling stations were being awaited. Hafiz Mohammad Azam of MMA could secure only 7476 votes.
