ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday visited the residence of martyred Colonel Sohail Abid and condoled his martyrdom with his family including father and children.

PPP Chairman offered Fateha for the departed soul and shared the pain of the father and children of the brave colonel who laid down his life fighting terrorists in Quetta last week.

Former Chairman Senate Nayyar Bukhari and Leader of the Opposition in the Senate Sherry Rehman also accompanied the PPP chairman.

Col Abid was martyred in the gunfight during intelligence based operation held in Balochistan.

During operation high-value target of Lashkar-i-Jhangvi (LeJ) Salman Badeni, who was involved in the killing of 100 members of Hazara community as well as police personnel, was killed.

Col Abid was survived by three daughters and a son.
