PESHAWAR: A nursing supervisor at the Institute of Kidney Diseases Hayatabad has approached the police against a doctor for threatening her after she supported another female colleague who was subjected to physical harassment.

An official at the Hayatabad police station confirmed receiving the application on Monday and said they were investigating the case.

According to the application, the complainant received threats by a doctor and his colleagues after she reported to the high-up the incident of harassment of a charge nurse of the institute on April 9.

In the application, she alleged that on Monday, the said doctor and his other accomplices carrying an AK-47 rifle attacked her house and tried to abduct her and her husband. She said they closed the doors to escape the attackers.
