GILGIT, May 25: The Northern Areas deputy chief executive has got the powers to transfer government servants of grade 18 and above in accordance with a decision of the chief executive of the Northern Areas, sources said. They said that a formal notification had been issued on Tuesday. It will be for the first time that a local deputy chief executive will be able to share powers with the local administration.
