SANGHAR, May 23: Seven people were found in illegal confinement at a police station on Monday by the civil judge-II Sinjhoro, Syed Abdul Qayoom Shah. The judge told journalists that he has been receiving telephone calls about the Jhol police.

People had been complaining that a large number of innocent persons were being arrested in Photo Mari murder case and released them after getting bribes.

Upon this information, he conducted a raid on the Jhol police station.

He found Dilbar Shar, Sattar, Abdul Sattar Brohi, Yousuf Brohi, Ghulam Rasool, Ali Hassan, Sain Bux in the quarters of investigation police while Jhol police claimed that two out of these seven were nominated in an FIR of a clash between two groups.

It may be recalled that deceased Photo Mari, a shepherd, was found murdered near Gunang Bungalow about a week ago but the police were clueless and scores of innocent people have been hauled up by police in this case.
