Medal in games

Published April 23, 2018

I CONGRATULATE Pakistani wrestlers Mohammad Inam Butt and Tayyab Raza for their amazing feats and for bringing pride to the Pakistani people by winning the gold medal and bronze medal respectively at the Commonwealth Games held recently.

Pakistan was among the countries that won a gold medal and stood 22nd in the nations that won medals in these Games. But our sports heroes were not received befittingly at the airports when they returned. Gone are the days when every sport was valued.

This is a request to the people to cherish and value our sports heroes.
